Spend an Educational Saturday with a Special Program on Bats

Don’t miss the coolest educational event happening at the Museum of Northern Arizona, the Second Saturdays Batty for Bats edition! This fun-filled monthly program for kids and families has tons for excitement and fascinating facts about the winged creatures of the night.

Join in the wonderful day of activities and join scientists from the NAU Bat Ecology and Genetics lab to learn about this vital group of mammals and their incredible characteristics that make them so unique. You can hear about how they use echolocation to hunt for food and how critical they are as pollinators, pest controllers, and seed dispersers in the Northern Arizona region. It’s an interesting event that will teach you everything there is to know about bats, and you even get to view some specimens up close!

At Village at Aspen Place Apartments in Flagstaff, Arizona, it is clear that we have it all, but we still feel obliged to inform you of all the events our community has scheduled. Please feel free to join in all of the fun at this event!
